II. Reports: 

Spring Fling report:   Report from DeeDee, Sue, and many others on the fun had by all.  Sue gave a report on her ankle and updates on how pleased they were at how clean we left it.  Thank you to all who attended.    

III. Sponsor information/Activities:

Motorcycle Trivia Night at A&S BMW Motorcycles:    from Linda R   was interesting presentation but hard to hear and had very late start.  Others attended but could not stay because of the late start.  

Motorcycle First-Aid Class: Amy – very informative / Lisa – the part about taking the helmet off or leaving it on was good

Some highlight of DeeDee’s presentation:

Wear correct gear

Keep emergency information on you

Have ICE on your cell phone (In Case of Emergence numbers)

Carry local phone number for emergency services

If come on a scene:  think about what you are capable of doing when trying to help

While monitoring victim, note what changes have happened

Killer survey:

       Airway clear

        Breathing

       Circulation

Helmet never comes off unless it is obstructing airway

Also do not remove or undo chin strap

Don’t move rider unless you have to.   Then move in same position they are in

Note:  You have the right to request life flight and you will only be charged if you actually use the service

If you send someone to call for help, make sure they come back and report success
